Type To Ticket

Type to Ticket is a four day typography conference that educates professionals and students on the impact type design has on specific demographics during United States presidential elections. This confrence package draws inspiration from election propaganda, political parties, and the brand identities from past candidates in order to develop a visual understanding of election season.

 
 

Program
The use of typography in political marketing is always well considered in order to target key demographics during election seasons. The typeface Proxima Nova was used in the program as a nod to Gotham, the typeface used throughout Barak Obama's 2008 & 2012 campaigns. In contrast, the typeface Museo Slab was pared together in order to represent the Republican Party.

 

 

Pocket Guide
Included in this conference package is a ballot inspired pocket guide, or small, condensed version of the program made for easy access while attending the conference.
